The official language of the Congress is English.

Simultaneous interpretation (Turkish/English) will be provided at the opening ceremony of the Congress.

Refreshments will be provided during mid-morning and mid-afternoon breaks. Lunches will be provided for registered participants during the Congress.

A number of technical visits will be organized that are of interest to participants in the Congress. All of the visits will probably start at the "Ankara High Speed Train Station-ATG" at 8:00 a.m. and finish at the same location at 7:00 p.m.

Every participant has to be registered. Registration is to be made via this website using online registration module.

The Congress Office has already blocked a number of hotel rooms for the Congress participants. Several pleasant hotels near the Congress venue and university guest houses on campus are available upon demand. Due to the limited number of rooms at discounted rates early reservation is advisable. A valid passport is sufficient to enter Turkey from most countries (EU, USA, Canada, Australia, etc.) whereas a VISA is required for citizens from other countries. For any further information, please contact your nearest Turkish Embassy. List of countries requiring a visa, and application instructions are provided at Most visitor visas can be obtained for a fee on arrival at the airport, but checking in is advised before departure. Please check with your travel agent whether you require an entry visa to Turkey.

The electrical power supply in Turkey is 220/50hz volts.

Turkish currency is Turkish Lira (TL). You can exchange currency upon your arrival at any airport, or at banks within Ankara. Most banks are open during business hours, 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. A few banks may also be open on Saturday afternoons. Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) are abundant throughout the city and may accept some international bankcards to dispense cash. Check with your financial institution to discuss your access to banking in Turkey. Most major credit cards are accepted at businesses, restaurants, and hotels, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club.

Turkey is 3 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT +3).

During the Congress, there will be free computer and wireless internet connection facilities for the participants to communicate with their professional colleagues and families/friends.

Official invitations may be obtained to facilitate participants attempting to acquire supporting funds, visas or permissions to attend the Congress. Please write to the Congress Office  specifying any special information that may require. Please note that these invitations are specifically for the purpose of obtaining visas and do not imply any financial commitment on the part of the Congress Office. Application for the invitation letters must be received at least 30 days prior to the Congress. ( Deadline: April 8, 2018)

All participants will be required to wear their badge at all times during the Congress. Those without badges will not be allowed to attend the sessions, the exhibition, especially technical visits for the security reasons or social events. Separate badges will be provided for all registered accompanying persons and will be required for admission to the Opening Reception, Coffee Breaks and Lunches.

Participants are, accordingly, advised to take out their own insurance.

If you reside outside Turkey, please be advised that you should arrange for your own health insurance policy for the duration of your stay in Turkey before your arrival. We cannot guarantee that free health care will be provided for non-Turkish residents traveling in Turkey. Consult with your travel agent regarding health insurance available for travel into Turkey. The Congress does not endorse nor assume responsibility for any of companies that offer international health coverage. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.

All registered accompanying person are invited to meet at the hospitality. The Congress Office will arrange a number of different cultural tours and social programs for the accompanying persons who has already registered.
